Celebration – Lucasfilm’s love letter to fans – is multiple days of major announcements, immersive exhibits, an interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions, fan-inspired activities, costumes and other surprises celebrating all things Star Wars! Star Wars Celebration is truly a once in a lifetime experience where memories are made, families are brought together, old friends are reunited, and new friendships forged — all in the setting of the ever-evolving Star Wars universe.

Tosche Station has been going as a group to almost every Celebration since 2007. Our first group trip was Celebration IV (LA). Since then, the group has gotten bigger, and it is always fun to travel with like-minded friends to these huge conventions. The best part is at the end of the day, we see each other and swap stories from the show floor, then get ready to head back the next day. It’s a full-on convention solely focused on one thing, Star Wars.

Celebration IV, commonly abbreviated as C4 or CIV, was the fourth Celebration of the Star Wars saga. It was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California from May 24 to May 28, 2007. Its primary purpose was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, the original Star Wars film which debuted on May 25, 1977. May 24 was exclusively for members of the Hyperspace fan club.

This was our first Major Trip as a Fanforce and First Major Convention for most of the group.

Celebration V, the seventh Celebration of the Star Wars saga (the fifth in the United States), was held in Orlando, Florida, United States, from August 12 to August 15, 2010.

Celebration VI was a Star Wars Celebration fan convention held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida between August 23 and August 26, 2012. The convention returned to Orlando due to the success of Celebration V in 2010

Celebration Europe II was held in Essen, Germany from July 26 to July 28, 2013. It served as a followup to Celebration Europe, the first European official Star Wars convention, which was held in London in July 2007. Celebration Europe II was first announced at the Closing Ceremonies of Celebration VI (Orlando, Florida) on August 26, 2012.

Celebration Anaheim was an official Star Wars Celebration fan convention held April 16–19, 2015, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, home of Disneyland.

Celebration Europe was the eleventh Celebration convention. The event was held July 15–17, 2016 at the ExCeL in London, England.

Celebration Orlando was a Celebration convention. It was held April 13–16, 2017, at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center. It was the largest Celebration to date, with over 70,000 attendees.

Star Wars Celebration Chicago is the thirteenth Celebration convention. The convention was held from April 11 through 15, 2019, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. This was the longest Star Wars Celebration to date since Celebration IV, with a five-day span.
